Nice expression. It also has a really appealing visual. I’ve discovered visuals are important to me regarding how something feels
I don’t much care for when people do “telling” poetry. There’s plenty of it out there, so I like to try for something different with “showing”.
Whether I succeed is up for debate.
We are all so many things in light and shadow, and your list is very interesting.
