Some days you just want to do you. Hell, sometimes weeks go by where you just want to do you.
Or, at least, that’s how it works for me.
No explaining. No apologies. No regrets. No accommodations. Just doing.
What about you?

Yes….I think it’s a very human reaction to a very basic human need: recouping our inner (and possibly outer) strengths. After we’ve spent inordinate amounts of time pleasing everyone else, which is exhausting, we need time to replenish. Absolutely nothing wrong with that.
I agree. Sometimes we are made to feel bad for being “selfish”, but golly… It sounds like a great idea right about now 😂
YES
YES YES YES!
Life demands so much from us. It’s so hard to catch time for yourself.
Some days, it can be impossible.
If you don’t do you nobody else will
That… might be for the best. 🤔
Yes, you feel that sometimes, like you’re thin….and you need to give yourself that “you” time.
Thin describes it some days.
I’m with you there, Michael. For some months now I’ve just stayed home, being me, and I’m good with that. In good company, it seems. 🙂
I’m just a little burned out on a few things and just want to create in my little bubble while it seems other people want to try to roll my bubble down a rocky slope, making me feel like an out-of-control hamster. 😂
Ignore them and do what your head and heart tell you. We all need me-time, it’s what I’ve been going through lately. Get in that bubble and get creating! 😊
Yeah, I agree. Worst thing is that irritating little voice which keeps nagging about not thinking of others!
Sometimes that voice just needs to shut up for a while.
You’re not wrong.
