same same same lame
same lame same
looking for a new sound
new shade new way
new taste new move
new love new dream
but everything's same
who wants to live
forever anyway?

You know strange as it sounds, as a kid I had a fear of living forever. Also, I’ve been working on a short poem called forever.
Living forever sounds like a terrifying prospect. I don’t think people really think about the implications when they say they want to live forever.
Nice resonance to this, Michael. Forever? No thanks! I always laugh at the idea of people wanting to extend their years on the planet…when they are already old and, despite what their brains might want to believe, unable to do what their youth allowed!
That’s the thing. I am only in my mid-fifties and I can’t imagine how awful I’ll feel at twice this age.
Amen to that, brother!
Put me out for the crows.
Aye.
