Sometimes dreams are just dreams. I get it — if all of our dreams were always meaningful, insightful and future-seeing, we’d put all of the oneiromancers out there out of business. Or give them panic attacks when we call them in to join us in the dreaming to help interpret and…
Whatever.
But there are dreams and the are Dreams. The proper noun versions demand you pay attention to their contents, which the other ones might linger on the fringes of memory until the morning fog burns off (if your lucky). And that’s only if they are particularly good or bad.
But those Dreams that linger into the evening, or for several days, months? Even decades? Those are the kind that I strongly suspect have some lessons or information contained within their bounds. Maybe they are not future seeing, or full of an understanding that makes you slap your forehead in sudden awareness as you sit up in your bed at 3 am.
But sometimes they are those kinds of Dreams. Or maybe other things. Or maybe much, much more.
I have those kinds of Dreams fairly regularly — anywhere from several a week to a handful a year. If you’ve had a Dream before, you know it as something quite unlike a standard dream.
I’ve had a few Dreams over the past month. This isn’t atypical for me, but I have no idea how often something like that happens for others. If you’ve have Dreams (as opposed to dreams), how often do you have such Dreams? And what kind of Dreams are they if you do have them.
