Unfortunately, I have to choose between functionality and integration with WordPress. Because I’m not hosted by WordPress the Jetpack plugin doesn’t behave the same as it does elsewhere. There are better systems out there, but then it loses the integration with WordPress.com and sites hosted by them. It is an imperfect, frustrating setup and I’m not sure why it doesn’t have complete parity.
I think this is what you were talking about before when you were trying to navigate all of this. It’s soooo frustrating and such a bummer. I’m sorry and hope it might change at some point! 🙏🏼
