how to upcycle a life
of mistake, misfit
and misgivings?
tug at the seams
pull out the stitching
let panels fall to a pile
trim off the worn
stained and blemished
fill in with color
with what remains and
sew back together
with a passion
that, my friends, is
how to upcycle a life

Love this, Michael. Upcycle your life: transform what’s broken into something beautiful. 🧡
Thank you, Mae. I’m definitely feeling transformative this early autumn. 💙
If it ain’t broken…
All that has been has made us what we are, warts and all. Those in denial have a problem.
There is that, but there is also fixing up what you have and marshalling on. And I think my knee needs oil. Or somat.
Prolly an amputation. 😂
Indeed, it’s all about doing what you can and trying to carry on with what you like to do. All too easy to sit back and become someone who does nothing but whinge and complain.
A popular pastime for many, or so I’ve been noticing more lately.
This is true.
Love this. If only … 🙂
We’ll have to ask the Bride how she feels. 😂
Very nice and a great way to deal with our world
There is too much hate in the world these days. More people need to make loving popular again.
Wouldn’t it be nice to go through a phase like that instead of the other? It’s happened before. I wonder what triggers it. Perhaps if we all wish really hard . . .
Dream harder, as a poet once sang.
