Oh I love

💕 thank you Jennifer.

My pleasure always 💕

Tell me why this is making me think of the new Wuthering Heights movie?

I’m not sure! I suppose it has those elements of unrequired desire. If I recall correctly, that’s pretty much the plot of Wuthering Heights (I was something like 12 years old when I read it and can’t claim to have understood what I was reading when I read it. But, Pat Benatar…. You know…

That’s exactly it! I recently reread the book in anticipation of the movie and was surprised by how scandalous it was for the time. I actually really liked the movie, although it’s not the same story at all. They lean heavy into the freakiness of power dynamics, but it’s also wrapped up in incredible sets and costumes.

I might have to catch it just for fun. Sometimes those can be great. Other times… not so much 🤣

If you go, let me know what you think!

It may be more that it comes to me, but if I watch it, I’ll let you know. Thanks 😊
