Completely different from Maine Coons on several levels, I’m starting to discover. It’s fun to find out how they’re different. Reading about the differences and experiencing them first hand is educational.
Our adopted girls from the rescue center are just over that mass. Wraith, our Maine Coon sits are around 7.5kg and has been confused with being a fluffy dog. If either of these boys gets to 10 kg, I can’t even begin to image how big they will look.
I credit high-quality protein-focused meals with everyone’s size. Only one of the boys is on a diet and he’s discovered he can’t pack it in the way he used to now that he has developed digestive issues (sensitive stomach) in his middle age.

Can’t imagine having such big cats at home. We’ve only ever had 2 cats and both were relatively tiny ladies, my latest cat peaked at around 5kg.
